People watch car races at the Sports Car Champions Festival in the Shanghai Audi International Circuit, Oct 26-27.

At this year’s Sports Car Champions Festival at the Shanghai Audi International Circuit, in the city of Shanghai’s Jiading district, Oct 26-27, six of the world’s most exciting car brands -- Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Porsche -- joining forces to promote motoring and the sports car culture in China.

Five races -- the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Scirocco R-Cup China, Audi R8 LMS Cup, and Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series, which are already a part of the race circuit, and a newcomer this year, the Formula Masters China Series -- have increased the enthusiasm of spectators at the Champions Festival.

The festival brought fiercely contested races and some equally exciting sideline activities to help people understand sports car culture better and experience it firsthand, with sports car exhibitions, test drives, classic car parades, sports car road shows, a bit of fun for everyone, including children, the young and the old, individuals or groups.

The first festival, held last year, helped turn the Shanghai Audi International Circuit into a must-see gathering for sports car aficionados and enthusiasts from around the country.
