Zhang Jianguo visits New Zealand and Australia

Zhang Jianguo, administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, led a delegation to New Zealand and Australia from November 23 to 30.

The delegation aims to know more about immigration management organs and relevant policies and regulations in New Zealand and Australia, and how to attract more high-end foreign talents with technological immigration policies.

They visited immigration offices in both countries and learned about local policies for introducing and managing foreign talents, especially regarding such matters as visas, housing, and social integration.

The delegation also went to a Plant and Food Research Center in New Zealand where they discussed plant food innovation and cooperation in enhancing food security.

The delegation exchanged views on official communication between all three countries during the trip.

SAFEA is responsible for certifying foreign experts to work in the Chinese mainland and organizing overseas training for Chinese technical and managerial professionals.
