Zhou Changkui leads survey group to Tsinghua University and Beijing Institute of Technology

Zhou Changkui, deputy administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, led a survey group to Tsinghua University and the Beijing Institute of Technology on September 21.

Zhou met Shi Yigong, vice president of Tsinghua University, and other officials and scholars, and listened to work reports on the university’s global strategy and international cooperation projects. He was also brought up to date on the construction of the “111 base” (Program of Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities) at Tsinghua University. In addition, the two sides discussed the introduction and management of high-level foreign experts.

Zhou also held talks about introduction of foreign experts when he met with officials and scholars at the Beijing Institute of Technology. He and the survey group visited the innovation and intellectual introduction base for science and technology related to special machinery platform design & manufacturing.

What we do

SAFEA is responsible for certifying foreign experts to work in the Chinese mainland and organizing overseas training for Chinese technical and managerial professionals.
