Between August 17 and 26, 2016, Sun Zhaohua, deputy administrator of the State Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs, led a delegation to Denmark, Portugal and Romania.

The delegation visited the Romanian Agriculture and Forestry Science Institute, the University of Porto, and the Agriculture and Biotech Research Institute of the University of Lisbon, conducting friendly negotiations towards strengthening science & technology, talent exchange and cooperation. They also visited the Danish Crown Group and Alfa Laval Company to discuss talent cooperation in the food processing field. They went as well to the Portugal Retired Expert Consultant Association, the Romania Engineers General Assembly, the Professional Scholar Associations of Chinese Traveling in Denmark, and the Romanian Branch of the International Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce for in-depth discussions concerning high-level experts.

They attended ‘New Opportunities of China and Europe Cooperation under The Belt and Road Strategy--the 8th European Forum’ held by the FCPAE, introduced the talent introduction status in China and signed an MOU with the FCPAE, the Professional Scholar Associations of Chinese Traveling in Denmark, and the Association of Science and Technology Exchange.

SAFEA is responsible for certifying foreign experts to work in the Chinese mainland and organizing overseas training for Chinese technical and managerial professionals.
