The Netherlands held an economic and trade exchange in Qingdao on April 26, the Qingdao Daily said.

Directors from the Royal Netherlands Embassy, the Netherlands Business Support Office in Qingdao and the Qingdao foreign affairs office discussed the economy and investment climate of both countries.

Dutch and Chinese entrepreneurs met one another, visited exhibitions and watched performances on the culture of the Netherlands.

Both sides agreed to benefit mutually from a closer cooperation in trade, technology, energy and environmental protection.
