Qingdao pushing private economy

The Overseas Investment Service Center of the city of Qingdao, Shandong province signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with the city’s International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector, on Sept 29, to make better use of their respective advantages and provide services in many fields for developing the city’s private enterprises.

The service center plans to make best use of the city’s investment, finance, market, and service environments for private enterprises and to help them pick up the pace in “going out”, meaning doing business abroad, and to generally give the enterprises a boost.

The city’s International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector was the brain-child of the Qingjian Group, with help from the city’s Federation of Industry and Commerce.
