Zhenshan tunnel for CRH trains successively completed

The longest tunnel for CRH (China Railway High-Speed) trains in Shandong province was successively completed on June 24.

The longest tunnel for CRH (China Railway High-Speed) trains in Shandong province was successively completed on June 24. The tunnel, which is 5,505 meters long, will connect Qingdao, Yantai, Weihai, and Rongcheng in Shandong province. Zhenshan tunnel is located on the straight line section of the Qingdao-Yantai railway with complex geographical conditions. It starts from south of Liujiacun in the Zhifu district of Yantai and extends north of the Xinqiao West Road in Yantai city.
