Qingdao will welcome the city's largest tea expo at the end of October, Qilu Evening News reported on Thursday.

Setting its venue at the Qingdao International Convention Center, the 2013 China Qingdao International Tea and Tea Industry Expo covers an area of 22,000 square meters with 1,200 international standard booths.

The expo will attract more than 500 tea companies featuring their products, including tea and tea sets (such as dark red enameled potteries and mahogany tea tables). It will also organize meetings, interesting games and award activities for all participants and visitors.

The organization committee of the expo will hold a special auction on Oct 31 to raise donations for the Qingdao Specialized Education Institution. The auction items, provided by the organization committee, include collectible teas, tea sets and private collections.
