The Executive Committee of the 2014 Qingdao International Horticultural Expo disclosed the shape of tickets for the expo on July 15. Shaped like a credit card, the ticket is easy to carry and preserve, Qingdao Morning News reported.

"The tickets are also designed for automatic self-service ticket machines and will surely save a lot of time," said a staff member in charge of tickets. "Each ticket has a built-in chip, which has an implanted code and is unique for every visitor."

In addition, ticket collection has gradually become popular after the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the 2010 World Expo. There are seven kinds of tickets for the Qingdao Expo, and they are expected to be favored by ticket collectors.
