Licang district, one of Qingdao’s four urban districts, is situated at the foot of Laoshan Mountain, and borders Jiaozhou Bay in the west.

It occupies an area of 98 square kilometers with a population of 520,000, and administers 11 streets and 121 communities. Lying on the eastern shore of Jiaozhou Bay, Licang has become a major district and show potential for economic growth.
The district has a long history of commerce and trade. Newly-established trading companies will occupy an area of 1.5 million square meters in three years, becoming the city’s largest business center that serves the whole province and will spread its influence across the Shandong Peninsula.
