A cornerstone laying ceremony for the municipal exhibition garden was held at the 2014 Qingdao International Horticulture Expo (QIHE) site on March 19.

Built to resemble a camellia, the city flower, the municipal exhibition garden will be designed to show the beauty of local municipal works and integrate with landscape gardens.

Visitors will experience the municipal garden through building materials, models, notes, and animated pictures and videos
