A Hongdao Economic Zone cooperative construction project signing ceremony was held in the InterContinental Qingdao on Jan 22.

The management committee of Hongdao Economic Zone signed a cooperative project contract with Qingdao City Construction Investment Group (QCCI) at the ceremony. QCCI has also entered cooperation framework agreements with China State Construction, China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group, CRCC Harbor & Channel Engineering Bureau Group, and Shandong Tobacco Investment Management Cooperation.

Construction of Hongdao Economic Zone will include infrastructure, public welfare projects and village redevelopment. The region contains huge strategic development potential. The large-scale construction will begin in the second half of 2013 to make Hongdao a new landmark of Qingdao city.
