BEIJING -- Tracy Mcgrady had 29 points and nine assists as Qingdao Doublestar grabbed their second CBA victory this season to close up their 2012 schedule by holding off Dongguan Marco Polo 117-107 at home on Dec 30.

Chris Daniels was a key helper for T-mac with 37 points and 10 rebounds. Yang Genglin added 13 points.

Qingdao showed a strong momentum with a 7-0 run after the game began, but later was handed the same by the opponents. The home team built a 25-20 lead after the first quarter and never fell down in the following three.

Dongguan lost their main scorer Lester Hudson to injury. Another foreign player Marcus Haislip experienced a 36-point night, but that was not enough for the guests to take the victory away from Qingdao.

Elsewhere, Yi Jianlian, Wang Shipeng and Terrence Williams all finished with 20-plus points as Guangdong Hongyuan gave Shandong Gold their fifth straight loss at 92-91.

Williams made one of two on free throw line with 11 seconds remaining, leaving the opportunity for Shandong to end the game, but the latter missed the final shot at the buzzer.

Stephon Marbury led Beijing Ducks to edge past Foshan Long Lions 108-92 with 27 points, six rebounds and four assists. Randolph Morris helped with 23 points.
