Qingdao int'l software expo to kick off

The first China (Qingdao) International Software Integration and Innovation Expo will be held in Qingdao, in eastern China's Shandong province, from August 10 to 12, 2012.
With an aim of integrating informationization and industrialization, the software expo features a products show, a high-end forum, and a business promotion conference.
Famous international software enterprises and some local software companies will come to demonstrate their newest products and technologies in electronics and information technology.
Guests from more than 6,000 enterprises, universities and institutes will take park in the expo, of which 170 corporations will have their own exhibition areas, including Microsoft, IBM, SAP and NEC.
"The expo is essential for the city to boast transformation from technological results to industrial products, satisfying the demand of the software and IT industry," said Xiang Yangqing, director of the Qingdao Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology.
Academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and entrepreneurs from several world-famous companies will give keynote speeches. They will also discuss the topic of "Integration of Informationization and Industrialization" at the high-end forum.
