Luxury hotel chain representatives visit Jihongtan street central old people’s home

Heads of Departments, Care Committee members and staff representatives from the hotel chain Doubletree by Hilton’s Qingdao/Chengyang hotel visited Jihongtan street central old people’s home on the weekend. The representatives were lead by General Manager Stefan and accompanied by officials from the senior citizens’ office of Chengyang district.

The hotel brought Chinese New Year hampers of buns and meat as well as sincere greetings and warm wishes. During the visit, Stefan introduced the attendees from the hotel, and explained the role of Doubletree’s CARE culture, which sees contributing to the local community as one the business’s main focuses.

Mr Xu Ting Kuan, secretary of the home said: “Ji Hong Tan Street Old people’s home is a state run home, offering free clothing, food, accommodation and medicine to senior citizens in need. With regard to this activity of Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang, I’d like to show sincere appreciation on behalf of over 50 residents and staff. We have also gained a better understanding of your Doubletree’s CARE culture.” Stefan, General Manager of Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao/Chengyang expressed that besides paying attention to the hotel’s operation, the hotel also concentrates on delivering hotel’s CARE culture by getting involved in the local community. "Last year, we visited a different old people’s home, and this year we came here. We wish all the residents continued good health and that they have a pleasant spring festival.”
