Qingdao collecting slogan titles for its 2014 world Horticulture Expo

Qingdao is collecting slogan titles for its upcoming 2014 World horticulture expo from home and abroad.

Requirements

The art works submitted are required to have distinct characteristics, professionalism and prospect; fully embodying the characteristic and the cultural essence of the host city Qingdao. The art work will have easy text, lasting appeal and be succinctly worded; easily spread and understood; be in both Chinese and English, with the contents explained.

Award

Participating works will initially be evaluated by the jury committee and 50 finalists will be chosen. There will be one first prize winner and the other five honorable mentions.

First prize will get a prize of 5,000 yuan and five honorable mentions will each get 1,000 yuan; there are 50 finalists, who will be awarded a certificate and a pair of tickets to the 2014 Qingdao World Horticultural Exposition.

According to the relevant provisions of China's "Copyright Law", the organizer has the ownership and full access to the short-listed and winning works.

If an entrant submits two works that are the same, we will take whichever comes first (by orders of the local postmark time). All work will not be returned. It becomes the property of the organizer.

The activity does not charge entry fees and mailing costs will be paid for by the author. The organizer does not take any responsibilities for works damaged or lost when being sent to us either via email or post.

In the process of selecting submitted works, the organizer reserves the right to modify works or reject unsuitable contents.
