The 13th Shenyang Faku International Ceramics Trade Fair got underway on Sept 27 at the Faku Economic Development Zone in Shenyang city of Liaoning province, Xinhua reported.
The event will run three days and display the newest ceramic techniques and technologies to promote ceramic products to domestic and overseas markets. The event serves as a platform for ceramic merchants to expand their market share. It is also a good opportunity to improve the brand influence of Faku’s ceramics while transforming and upgrading the ceramics industry.
According to the sponsor of the event, a variety of new ceramic products will be launched at the exhibition to attract visitors and merchants.
Up until now, the event has been successfully held 13 times. And during the 12th fair held this May, about 10,000 merchants from home and abroad gathered in Faku to discuss products and sign deals, which achieved a sales revenue of 1.5 billion yuan ($224.8 million) in just three days.
Faku, which is called “China's Ceramic Valley”, started its ceramic manufacturing industry back in 2002. Through more than 10 years, it has already established its own industrial park, which 248 businesses call home. The park mainly undertakes research, production, and sale of architectural ceramics and artistic ceramics. At present, the Faku industrial park has about 1,000 ceramic brands and 12 categories of ceramic products, and a complete industrial chain has taken shape.
In 2015, the gross industrial output value of the park reached 21 billion yuan and the sales revenue amounted to more than 10 billion yuan. It also applied for a total of 78 ceramic production technology patents. The Faku industrial park has become the most important ceramic base in the whole Northeast Asia area.
