"The mobile APP will help drivers quickly leave the scene of the accident having collected evidence and allow traffic to flow normally," said Wang Huaizhong, an official of Wuxi traffic police department.

He believes those who document the accident properly and upload specific and clear photographs will reap the benefits of the app.

The Wuxi traffic police are keen to remind drivers that hazard lights should be turned on throughout the documentation producers. Vehicle owners failing to leave the scene of the accident in a prompt and timely fashion will be slapped with a 200 yuan ($29) fine.

Although this APP might be in its infancy, it is hoped through increasingly wider usage and maturity it can greatly improve the lives and safety of Wuxi residents.
