The city of Nantong, Jiangsu province, recently launched a digital library, which is a free service project for patrons of the Nantong Library.

The digital library is an intelligent system based on the library’s integrated management platform and information resources. The library is available on mobile terminal devices such as mobile phones and tablet PCs.

The digital library not only provides a large number of resources, including e-books, e-newspapers, videos and open courses, but also offers services such as book searches, renewals and recommendations. Readers can also obtain digital resources from other libraries and receive e-books and journals through a cloud information-sharing service.
