Nantong young artists' exhibition kicks off

A Nantong young artists’ exhibition, part of the activities of the demonstration month of public cultural services, will be on display at the new venue of Nantong Museum from Oct 9 to 14.

Themed around hometown and family traditions, the exhibition will showcase over 80 works from 29 local artists, most of whom were born in the 1970s and 80s. The exhibits include traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, woodcuts, sculptures and illustrations.

The exhibition is co-hosted by the city’s culture, radio, television, press and publication bureau and young artist association. Local artists, art critics and government officials joined the opening ceremony.
