Jiangsu Alphay Biological Technology Company in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, Jiangsu province, organized a blood donation on Aug 13.
Over 50 employees, including Chen Hui, company president, and clients on business at the company donated blood for people injured in the blast in Kunshan, Jiangsu province, on Aug 2, which killed 75 people.
As a “provincial civilized unit”, Alphay has been making contributions to charity causes. It has also donated 200,000 yuan ($32,500) to the quake-hit region in Yunnan.
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
