Nantong culture park holds Chinese painting exhibit

An exhibition of traditional Chinese paintings of realistic flowers opened at the art exhibit center of Nantong’s Folk Culture Expo Park. It’s being held by the publicity department of Chongchuan District and the committee of Langshan Mountain Scenic Spot.

More than 300 works are by well-known contemporary Chinese painters. The artists express their thoughts in images of landscapes, flowers, birds and figures by using techniques of fine brushwork, freehand brushwork, ink painting and color painting, to create works of spectacular landscapes and sketches.

The art exhibit center, covering an area of more than 3,200 square kilometers, is located in Nantong’s Folk Culture Expo Park, which is a key cultural project of Nantong’s administration. Since it opened, the center has held several exhibitions of Chinese paintings and calligraphy to promote traditional Chinese culture.
