NETDA：ZZT Rooftop photovoltaic power station connected to grid to generate electricity

The National Energy Administration has approved the project of ZTT Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd involving the Zhongtian Technology (ZZT) distributed photovoltaic power generation project of 150 Megawatt in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA), as the first distributed power generation demonstration zone.

ZZT invested 100 million yuan in NETDA to establish a solar rooftop photovoltaic power station base - with a research and development team of international and domestic experts - to implement product development, manufacturing, marketing, and industrial services.

The project will be implemented in three phases, and the first phase has been started in Xiaohai. After the completion of all three phases, 160 million KWh of green electricity will be generated annually, which will save about 60,000 tons of standard coal and a reduction of 150,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

A solar cable factory of the rooftop photovoltaic power station, with an investment of 70 million yuan, covering a roof area of 275, 000 square meters,has been established. The power station - with a capacity of 9.6MW - has connected solar photovoltaic to the national grid. It will continuously transport the solar current output to the target customers, which thus involves green energy. The price of electricity from this grid system is 1.25 yuan /kWh and, if the power station generates 12 million kWh annually, it can lead to a reduction of 9148 tons of carbon dioxide emissions a year.
