NETDA holds activities to improve emergency management

A contest involving a series of activities related to production safety was held in Nantong Economic and Technological Development Zone (NETDA), in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on June 14. Qiang Qiang, director of the the management committee attended the activities, according to local media.

TSRC (Nantong) Industrial Ltd won one of the contests, concerning the use of a fire extinguisher water gun. And officials handed out 10,000 brochures to visitors and workers.

Though the number of accidents in the zone has fallen due to safety inspections and economic growth of the area, Dong Kexin stressed the importance of safety and promoting accident prevention. He also said that enterprises should focus on awareness and responsibility, and the government should increase the number of inspections and strengthen management, in order to guarantee the fast development of NETDA.
