The Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area administration committee called for donations for Ya'an, the earthquake-stricken area in Sichuan province, on April 24. In less than one hour, it had raised 23,900 yuan ($3,871).
The NETDA Free Trade Zone got the original go-ahead, on Jan 3, 2013, from the State Council, for a 5.29-sq-km area, in two parts.
