NETDA residents volunteer actively

Over 10 elderly women lined up at volunteer service sites in Xingchen community on the morning of March 4, waiting for free haircuts while chatting.

Zhang Yazhong, a young barber who came to work in NETDA less than two years ago, eagerly offered free haircuts after he heard about the volunteer service activity at Zhuxing Street. He cut hair for five people in less than one hour. The ladies were quite pleased and satisfied with Zhang’s skill.

Zhang Yazhong is a representative of NETDA’s youth volunteer team. More than 40 enthusiastic people have joined the Zhuxing Street volunteer team in less than half a month. They contribute by helping poor children, protecting the environment, aiding lonely elderly people, and lend a hand to anyone in need.
