A delegation led by Zhou Quan, director of operations at Jiuwang Tourism Information Industry Co Ltd in Sichuan province, visited Wudang Mountains scenic area in central China’s Hubei province on Dec 15, wudangshan.gov.cn reported.

Yang Danhua, deputy director of the Wudang Mountains Tourism and Economy Special Region management committee, accompanied the delegation during their visit to scenic spots including Wudang Urban Planning Museum, Wudang Museum, Yuxu Palace and Tai Chi Lake, and the visitors said they were impressed by the scenery, ancient architecture and cultural heritage of Wudang Mountains.

Zhou said he had a high opinion of the area’s management system, and he also urged the managers to develop their e-commerce, which would allow visitors to check out various travel routes and ticket prices and pay for their tours in advance.

Huang Bo, general manager of Huameng Media Company in Chengdu, said that he was especially impressed with “Fantasy Wudang”, a Tai Chi kung fu show, which he said showcases the eastern charms of Tai Chi and promotes respectful behavior.

Yang added that both sides should enhance cooperation in tourism to achieve “win-win results,” and he urged the managers to establish links to each other’s website, which would also help increase the number of viewers of their promotional videos.
