Enshi city in central China’s Hubei province organized a promotional event focusing on various tourist itineraries on Dec 9, with the aim of attracting visitors from Henan province and also to publicize the Henan-Enshi intercity through train, hubeitour.gov.cn reported.

A promotional film on Enshi was screened at the event and organizers also gave details about six itineraries, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Henan.

Liu Yu, chairman of the Enshi Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), addressed participants. He said that Enshi has improved its infrastructure and the facilities at its various attractions and had also implemented policies aimed at attracting tourists from Henan and around the country.

The promotional event was jointly organized by the Enshi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture tourism committee, the Enshi Municipal Tourism Bureau, Enshi Municipal Tourism Association, Enshi Baozhong International Travel Agency and other organizations.
