Taiwan business group visits Wudang

Ye Wenxi, director of the public affairs department of the Taiwan food manufacturer Want Want China Times Group, arrived in Wudang Mountains scenic area on Nov 18.

Li Faping, director of the management committee of the Wudang Mountains Tourism and Economy Special Region, and Yan Danhua, the committee’s deputy director, received Ye and his group.

Li said that people in the Chinese mainland and Taiwan share the same belief in Emperor Xuanwu, and Wudang Mountains is famous for the emperor, which has created a cultural and religious bond. “Wudang Mountains scenic area is striving to become a world-class tourist attraction, and we’d love to cooperate with Taiwan corporations,” he also said.

The following day, the visitors toured the scenic area and had the opportunity to enjoy the ancient architectural complex, unique culture, and scenery. Ye discussed the operation model of the scenic area, and he called for more communication among major tourists attractions in the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.
