The Shiyan Tourism Bureau is organizing a one-week exhibition to promote the city as a tourist destination during the ongoing ninth China International Garden Expo which is being held in Beijing, hubeitour.gov.cn reported. The exhibition will take place from Sept 21 to 27.

The garden expo, which started on May 18 and will continue until Nov 18, showcases garden styles from more than 100 cities and it has received some publicity overseas.

The special week will include an opening ceremony at Ziwei Square, an exhibition exclusively for Shiyan tourism products, the erection of a permanent billboard promoting the city of Shiyan as a tourist destination, an exhibition tour, and the signing of a cooperation agreement between Shiyan Tourism Bureau and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development.
