The opening ceremony of the Fourth Lotus Festival with the theme of “lotus heaven, delicate food and scenery”, was held in Jinlian bay in Caidian district, Wuhan, on July 6, and the event will last until October 15.

The opening ceremony included activities such as sightseeing in Caidian district, and 60 photographers were invited to record the beauty of the lotus flowers. In addition, visitors had the opportunity to taste freshly cooked lotus roots, and some art performances were also held after the ceremony.
