SSON (the Shared Services and Outsourcing Network) China 2013, held a conference in Wuhan on May 15 and 16 that was jointly organized by East Lake New Technology Development Zone, Wuhan Software New Town and SSON. Over 120 entrepreneurs, experts and reporters attended the event.

Participants gave speeches and held discussions on the theme “Develop new competitive advantages through business transformation strategy”.

They also discussed ways to take advantage of Wuhan’s status as a second-tier city, and various matters such as enhancing work efficiency.

Ye Ming, vice president of Dalian Software Park Co., Ltd. (DLSP) and Cai Yueming, chief engineer of the company gave speeches, and representatives of other well-known companies, such as Schneider Electric, HP, Panalpina and Shell, also shared their experiences.

SSON was first held in China in 2011, and has been hosted by Suzhou, Shanghai and Dalian.

Shao Hui, general manager of Wuhan Software New Town Development Co., Ltd said that, as a champion of intelligent green industry, Wuhan Software New Town aims to enhance the level of software and shared services, and to update the whole industry, and he added that the SSON conference in Wuhan will help the city to become a leading city in the field of software.
