American news publication features Huanggang

On April 3, Passionate Dabie Mountain, Romantic Huanggang, a promotional publication for tourism in Huanggang city, Hubei province, was published in volume 1,313 of A&C Business News. The publication has helped inform millions of Chinese merchants and readers about Huanggang.
As a newspaper of the American Chinese Business Association (ACBA), A&C Business News is not only the most influential Chinese newspaper in the US, but also serves as an encyclopedia for overseas Chinese in the country.
The newspaper is available in major cities like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and San Francisco. It is read by millions and has become the largest commercial newspaper in the US.
Jack Chen, the chairman of the ACBA, said, "The Huanggang program has enabled us to appreciate not only the educational strength of Huanggang but also its elegant beauty."
For the previous year, Huanggang has made great efforts to popularize its tourism. On January 14, 2013, a film promoting tourism in Huanggang began being broadcast on News 30', a program on CCTV 1.
It was also available in primetime before Hubei News on Hubei TV. Tian Hongguang, chief of the Huanggang municipal travel bureau, was also a guest on All-Day News, a program on the public Hubei TV channel, promoting tourism in Huanggang.
North Latitude 30 - Tour in China (Huanggang episode) is a 45-minute special film that was broadcast on CCTV. A video featuring Dabie Mountain (Luotian county) was part Magnificent Hubei Province, a tourism advertisement film on CCTV. Media like Guangdong Southern TV (TVS), Hubei Daily and Changjiang River Daily have been vocal in popularizing tourism in Huanggang.
At the same time, a great many publicity materials have been compiled and printed to deepen promotion through different media, including major hotels, travel agencies, outdoor electric screens and bus station platforms in urban districts.
On May 2012, a promotional event for tourism in Dabie Mountain was successfully held in Taiwan. In July, a themed activity, Tour in Huanggang City, was specially presented at the Central China Tour Exposition.
In September 2012, the third Su Dongpo Culture Festival was successfully held in Huanggang. In October, a news release and promotional activities for tourism in Huanggan was held in Beijing. Representatives from the tourism sector of Huanggang successively took part in travel trade shows held in Shanghai, Chongqing and Zhejiang province. The third Macheng Azalea Festival, Dabieshan Photograph Festival, Sweet Persimmon Festival and Red Leaf Festival were also held.
