Dahong Mountain scenic spot sells 10,000 tickets online

On Oct 31, Dahong Mountain scenic spot struck a deal with eleven travel services from Shandong province by selling 10,800 entrance tickets online.
Dahong Mountain is promoting tourism service worldwide with the recently upgraded China Dahong Mountain tourism network. The click rate of the network website averages over 10,000 hits per day. This year, the administrative committee of the scenic spot will experiment with selling entrance tickets online. Tourists book tickets in a few, similar to booking airline tickets. To date, online ticket sales have become a powerful complement to field ticket sales.
Dahong Mountain has also cultivated new platforms promoting the scenic spot. It has cooperated with traffic network marketing companies across the country and invested more than 200,000 yuan to broadcast short promotion features on 23 metro lines, 80 scheduled flights and 100 bus lines. The all-round promotions have improved the image of Dahong Mountain and attracted attention from tourists.
According to preliminary statistics, up until Nov 1, Dahong Mountain received 850,000 tourists this year. It is striving to meet the target of one million tourists for 2011.
Li Chengsheng, director of Dahong Mountain scenic spot Administrative Committee, said they have confidence and the determination to meet the target and lay a solid foundation for improving performances in the next year.
