International Optoelectronic Expo to be launched in Wuhan

The organization committee of China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE) announced that the 8th CIOE is to be launched on Nov 2 at the Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wuhan, Hubei province. The expo will last four days.

With a more extensive scale and a larger number of exhibitors than ever before, the trade volume of the 8th CIOE is predicted to reach 20 billion yuan, ten times more than last year.

Seven relevant forums will be held on top of the exhibition. More than 30 top scientists and scholars will attend these forums including Professor Ivar Giaever, the Nobel Prize winner for physics in 1973. The Laser Pavilion is the highlight of the exhibition. Visitors will be able to visit the most advanced laser facilities and cutting technology in China.

In addition, the 8th CIOE provides opportunities to more than 20 companies who present their latest technologies at the exhibition the chance to make business transactions. More than 200 corporations will have business exchanges with purchasing managers from home and abroad.
