The 2019 Guizhou Entrepreneurs Development Convention kicked off on July 14 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, with a theme revolving around contributing to poverty alleviation efforts in Guizhou.
Representatives of government departments, experts, Fortune 500 companies, as well as commerce of chambers from home and abroad were invited to share ideas on development and poverty alleviation.
Gao Yunlong, chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, acknowledged Guizhou's efforts in optimizing its business environment and promoting the high quality development of the economy.
Gao called for more Guizhou entrepreneurs to persist in serving the country by developing the private sector economy and contributing to the development of Guizhou in the future.

In recent years, Guizhou has promoted industrialization in rural areas and focused on targeted poverty alleviation efforts in poverty-stricken areas. The sustained development of the business, political, and natural environment in Guizhou will attract more entrepreneurs to invest in the province.
ShenYiqin, Governor of Guizhou province, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the convention that encouraged more entrepreneurs to get involved in the promotion of opening up and realizing mutual benefits through poverty alleviation work in Guizhou.
In addition, Guizhou is striving to create a first class business environment at the global level, an efficient political environment, and a fair legal environment for Guizhou entrepreneurs to invest in their hometown.
