Guiyang, Guizhou province, held an opening ceremony for its Second Agriculture Carnival in Wudang district on Aug 18.
With an investment of 1.9 billion yuan ($28.63 million), 63 projects, involving park construction, new-type villages, characteristic scenic spots and demonstration towns, will be promoted at the carnival.
During the event, a painting and calligraphy exhibition will be put on, together with singing and artistic performances. An exhibition for display and sale of agricultural products will also be held at the district’s Flower and Painting Town.
