Guizhou Alcoholic Beverage Expo expects over 100 billion yuan in investments

A telephone conference was held on August 27 to promote the second China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverage Expo in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China’s Guizhou province.
The amount of contract investments is expected to break 100 billion yuan, according to the conference. To date, major leading alcohol manufacturing and consuming countries from five continents have been invited, including France, Italy, Australia, the U.S., England, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Korea and Japan.
Over 300 overseas enterprises and 600 domestic enterprises will set up exposition booths in the trade fair, and 5,100 purchasers are expected to attend the expo.
The exhibitions will be held in eight halls at the Guiyang International Exhibition Center.
Hall 1 will host global brand names. It plans to exhibit world-famous spirits, wine and beer as well as the top 10 Chinese liquor, wine and beer products. It will also demonstrate the history and culture of famous alcoholic beverages.
Hall 2 will display each country's alcohol culture. Each participating country is expected to display the products from more than five companies, not including the brand names included in Hall 1.
Hall 3 will exhibit the unique features of each Chinese province's alcohol culture and industry.
Hall 4 will show the history, legacy and culture of Guizhou's alcohol industry.
Halls 5 and 6 will display Chinese Baijiu (white liquor) products.
Hall 7 will host wine and beer products, including fermented, distilled and mixed liquor.
Hall 8 will display derivative products, such as packaging and manufacturing technologies.
