High-end domestic marine technology

Advanced Chinese marine equipment such as Jiaolong, a Chinese manned deep-sea research submersible, and Qianlong-1, an unmanned autonomous underwater vehicle, will be thrust into the spotlight.

Other oceanic achievements in sea water desalination, ocean protection and Antarctic science investigation will draw great attention from ocean lovers and industry insiders.

Guangdong's experience in building a national ocean economic pilot zone during the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-15) will also be showcased.
