Expected highlights of 2016 CMEE

High-profile attendance with various cutting-edge marine products, as well as professional seminars and forums, will be among the highlights at the China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) 2016 which will run from Nov 24 to 27.

At a meeting held on Nov 1, the coastal city of Zhanjiang in South China's Guangdong, well-experienced at hosting the annual exhibition, vowed to deliver new breakthroughs in marine-related demonstrations on up-graded stages.

Upgraded exhibition halls

The exhibition halls at the Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center occupy an area of 100,000 square meters, and are comprised of three pavilions—the International Pavilion, the National Pavilion, and the Industry Pavilion. Three zones for cultural tourism, marine makers, and products display will also be built for the expo.

The International Pavilion will be equipped with independent exhibition stalls for countries along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. Members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), countries in the South Pacific, and European Union members will showcase their striking achievements in marine technology.

Creative marine-related industries, such as 3D printing, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), and intelligent cars, will also be on display in exhibition areas for innovative pioneers.
