O2O freelancers in Fuzhou have higher salary

The average monthly income of online to offline (O2O) freelancers in Fuzhou, Fujian province reached 8,312 yuan ($1,336), according to a report by ganji.com.

The decent salary has increasingly allured people, especially those between the ages of 25 and 30, and 40 and 45, the report said.

It showed that 68 percent of them earn more than 5,000 yuan every month, and about 9 percent get paid more than 10,000 yuan, while 14 percent make an income less than 3,000 yuan.

The average annual income of an employee in Fuzhou was 41,725 yuan (meaning 3,477 yuan per month) in 2011 based on a survey by China News Service.

The top three earning O2O jobs in Fuzhou are masseurs (12,244 yuan), tour guides (8,852 yuan) and independent brokers (8,453 yuan).

Most O2O freelancers are vocational school graduates. And 79 percent of them possess a skills certificate.

The O2O freelancers are most satisfied with their choices of free time and location without being bossed around. But some are worried about an unsteady income, a narrow socializing environment and mental stress, said the report.
