What tremendous fun was had by all at the British School of Beijing Red Nose Day! Children and staff went to great lengths to dress up in odd clothing, ranging from pajamas to uniforms worn backwards, to fancy dresses to odd socks and shoes!

Proceeds from the staff and children’s purchase of their red noses added up to a whopping total of 19,017 RMB! The money will be used to help children in Africa as well as local children. The student council has already contributed 12 malaria bed nets and the generous donations received from Shunyin Primary will go towards 189 more nets!

Many thanks to all the BSB families at both the Sanlitun and Shunyi campuses that took this opportunity to donate heavily to a noble and rewarding cause. Your generosity is a defining feature of our caring parent body, so a heartfelt thanks to all!
