Abstract: The 4th China-France Round Table Conference was held in Shanghai on July 2 and 3, 2018. The two sides discussed climate governance, green finance, carbon trading, new energy vehicles, automatic driving and some other issues. Views are mainly concentrated on the following issues. China and France are the main promoters and conductors of the Paris Agreement, and the global climate governance is not yet out of the woods; The two countries are leaders in facilitating green development such as carbon trading and green finance; A new round of auto revolution has already exerted and will continue to have a significant impact on sustainable development; The road overtaking strategy in China’s auto revolution has showed initial effects, but future development still faces various uncertainties; China has made positive contributions to the global development of clean energy and electric vehicles, and some experience and lessons are worth drawing; China and France could strengthen cooperation on global climate governance, carbon trading and new energy vehicles.
