Abstract:

China will for some time in the future witness a critical stage of deepened reform in an all-around way along with economic transformation and upgrading. With the entry of China's economic development into a state of new normal, the cultural industry is playing a more important role in facilitating economic restructuring and accelerating transformation mode of economic development. In order to seize favorable opportunities to promote sound and sustained development of China's cultural industry, major efforts should be made in the following aspects: push forward with reform in the cultural management system; actively foster a modern cultural market system; further strengthen policy innovation and policy support; resolve deep-seated problems involved in the structural transformation of art institutions into enterprises on a gradual basis; optimize the institutional mechanism for the integrated development of the cultural industry and relevant industries; step up the development of cultural industry clusters; guide and support the cultural industry to expand overseas presence; promote the integrated development of traditional media and new media; improve the system of cultural laws and regulations; lay stress on cultivating and introducing talented personnel of the cultural industry, especially high-quality personnel; and reinforce the statistical work and regulatory analysis of the cultural industry.
