Abstract:

President Xi Jinping pointed out that if China wants to become a strong nation, agriculture must be modernized; if China wants to become environmental-friendly, it should focus on ecological conservation in rural areas; and if China wants to become rich, farmers must become better-off. This concerns issues with China's agriculture, farmers and rural areas and is the basic approach to future work. This report is focused on measures to make China's agriculture strong, its rural areas environmental-friendly, and its farmers better-off and discusses policy development for agriculture, rural areas and farmers.
