Li Wei, president of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), held a discussion meeting with Takehiko Nakao, president of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), on Aug 12.

They exchanged views on China's economic and social reforms, global economic development and cooperation between the DRC and ADB.

Those present at the meeting included Wang Zhongjing, executive board director of the ADB; Ayumi Konishi, director of the ADB’s East Asia Bureau; Hamid Sharif, chief representative of the ADB in China; Sun Lanlan, director-general of the International Cooperation Department; Hou Yongzhi, director-general of the Department of Development Strategy and Regional Economy; Zhang Chenghui, director-general of the Research Institute of Finance; and Dr. Zhao Jinping, vice director-general of the Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations.
