Daming Palace Pavilion receives 400,000 visitors

Since the opening of Shanghai Expo, Daming Palace Pavilion has gained popularity among visitors around the world. As of July 20, 2010, the number of visitors to the pavilion has reached 400,000.

"Daming Palace Pavilion represents Xi'an, Shaanxi. We should provide even better services for the visitors there," said Ding Jian, a member of Xi’an, standing Party committee, who visited Daming Palace Pavilion on July 20, 2010.

He enjoyed the performance of "Flying over Daming Palace" and was deeply impressed with the slice of Tang Culture showcased through the performance. It was clear the thousands of visitors, who also saw the performance that day, were equally impressed.

Ding also encouraged the pavilion's staff to learn more from Shanghai Expo to better prepare for Xi'an's World Horticulture Exposition next year.
