On the third session of the twelfth National People’s Congress, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang mentioned for the first time the Internet Plus action plan, aiming to integrate mobile Internet, cloud computing, big data and the Internet of Things with modern manufacturing, encourage the healthy development of e-commerce, industrial network and Internet financing, and help Internet enterprises explore the global market.

What is Internet Plus? Ma Huateng, CEO of the Internet giant Tencent, explains that Internet Plus is to use internet as a platform where all industries including the traditional ones can integrate with the internet to create a brand-new business form through telecommunication technology.

Internet Plus, instead of overturning the traditional industries, stimulates the upgrade and reform of the related business in those industries. Concerning the IP industry, what practical problems will enterprises encounter in this Internet Plus IP era?

The urge for speedy updates of Internet technologies lies in economic benefits. And as a legal system, the IP system pursues fairness and justice in the production and distribution of IP benefits. In the Internet Plus IP era, what kind of regulations and rules, from the macro perspective, will the Internet industry and IP industry really need: a preset regulation mode or active follow-up regulation mode?

Recently, a number of Chinese online IP service providers such as Zhiguoguo and IP Master have promoted free services on the internet. Founders of those e-commerce providers are firmly convinced that it’s the right time to change the traditional industries.

The new business pattern not only attracts clients, but also arouses strong attention in IP industry. How do “big names” in traditional service industries think? Will in-house IPers turn to the online service? Gathering industrial experts and IPers from traditional and emerging service agencies and enterprises, China IP will lead you to the most comprehensive perspectives on “Internet Plus IP”.
