The 1st China LED IP summit held in Guangzhou

The first China LED IP Summit was held on February 20th, 2012 at the Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, China. The Summit was co-located with the 8th Guangzhou International LED Exhibition - the largest LED event in the world - and hosted by UBM Group. The Summit was to provide a communication platform for insiders and enhance the impact it could have on the LED industry. The guest speakers includes IP officials and senior executives from top LED companies including Mr. Gregory Baque, Senior Director of Intellectual Property, Philips, China; Mr. Mike McLean, Senior Vice President of UBM TechInsights; Ms. Wang Ningling, Partner, Finnegan. The IP Summit includes sessions on government policy, patent landscaping and a legal case study to help the audience to understand the LED industrial environment. The audiences are exposed to presentations that highlight global patenting trends and offer tips for IP strategy development.
