On November 18, 2010, the 3rd China International Copyright Expo, sticking to the principle of “sustainable, operational, innovative and distinctive,” was held at the Beijing-based National Convention Center.

Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Francis Gurry and other international copyright management organizations and institutions from more than fifty countries and areas attended the Expo and witnessed the latest achievement of China’s cultural creative industry.

Two successful expos in the past have led to active responses from enterprises in more than 40 countries and regions. Previous Expos have been highly praised by both the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Chinese government, making this an internationally influential grand event in cultural creation and the copyright industry.

The Expo focused on the theme of music, aimed at leading people’s concern with respect to the rapidly developing and highly profitable music market and discussed all perspectives such as copyright protection, trading, investment and financing.
